Many businesses are finding it difficult to staff facilities that require multiple people with a very focused skill set to operate day-to-day. At Hutson, we are blessed with an excellent team that works hard every day to guide our customers in choosing the right equipment for the job, provide replacement parts and repair your equipment when needed. But like many businesses across our country, we are unable to provide the level of service that our customers expect.
In response to these challenging times, we have arrived at a decision that will enable us to not only staff properly but will improve our ability to serve you. Effective December 31, 2021, we will be closing the Grand Ledge location. This is a difficult decision that we would not undertake without a plan to continue to provide the equipment, parts, and service you have come to expect from us.
We are pleased to announce that in early 2022 we will begin construction on a new, state-of-the-art facility, in nearby Charlotte, across the street from our current building located at 110 S Lincoln St, Charlotte, Michigan 48813. This facility will provide larger, well-equipped service facilities, a superior parts storage area, and a bright, comfortable equipment showroom. And, by combining our current staff from both locations we can offer the level of service that complements our premium outdoor equipment. To us, the most important aspect of this project is a customer experience worthy of both John Deere and Hutson.
